NYC Balloons in Tommy Hilfiger's House

Monday afternoon, I received a phone call from a very nice young lady who wanted to surprise her good friend with balloons for her birthday. The young woman explained that she would like to go over to her friends apartment and fill the living room with balloons to surprise her friend when she returns to New York tomorrow morning on her birthday. "What a great idea," I replied and began to get some information to determine exactly what she would need and how we could help. After getting some basic measurements we determined that 200 free floating balloons would be just right for the apartment. The young woman, then asked if we could do something special in the den to really make an impact for the birthday girl. We discussed a few ideas and decided to make a floating name banner spelling out the birthday girl's name in big balloon letters.
We went over the details of the delivery; time, address, contact number, email and then I asked for a name at the residence we were delivering to. The young woman replied, "it's Tommy Hilfiger, his wife is a close friend and this is to surprise her for her birthday." So on we went with the remainder of the order specifics, I thanked her for the order and said that we would see her tomorrow for the delivery. About 20 minutes passed and she called me back to explain that Tommy & his wife were actually coming in tonight and not tomorrow as expected and she wanted to know if there was any way we can come over tonight to deliver the balloons before they arrive. Being New York City Balloons, we are pretty much always ready for almost anything. "No Problem," I said and the order was rescheduled for that evening.
About 3 hours later, we were inside the unbelievably gorgeous Plaza Hotel residence of Tommy Hilfiger, talking with his daughter Ally. She was so excited by the thought of her mom coming home and being surprised by a house filled with balloons. 'It will be so nice for her to come home to, she will be so happy, she just had a baby & this will be so nice" explained Ally.
It's always a nice feeling to have people admire your work but when it brings happiness and fun into some one's life it's even more special. The place was gorgeous, the balloons looked great, and the people we met, Ally, her friend Maverick & Tommy's Wife's friend Brenda, were the type of clients you always hope for.
We hope to see you guys again soon.....................Happy Holidays & call us if you need balloons!!!!!

NYC Balloons & BMW

NYC Balloons was on site to decorate the new state-of-the-art 92,000 sq. ft. facility at Rallye BMW in Westbury, New York. Not only does their showroom feature some of the most gorgeous cars, but there is a cafe to relax, eat or have a drink while you wait as well as modern waiting rooms and even a children's playroom. The New York City Balloons staff filled the showroom with floating clusters that soared above head which enabled us to fill the bright showroom while leaving all of the vehicles in clear view. Outside giant 3' balloons in classic BMW blue & silver lined the property and soared high above head for all to see from every direction.
"The balloons look great," said Shaun Weissman of BMW, "Hopefully we'll have a good weekend and we can decorate again next weekend for our Black Friday sales event," said Weissman.
