New York City Balloons Thinks Pink!

New York City Balloons http://www.balloonnyc.com/ is proud to be a part of this years Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. We will be donating all of the balloons for the 10 mile training walk taking place at BMCC in downtown Manhattan, July 19th at 9AM. In addition we will be giving a 10% discount to any registered participant on all orders throughout the year. http://walk.avonfoundation.org/site/PageServer?pagename=nwy_business

We are still in talks regarding an additional donation for the Official New York Avon Walk For Breast Cancer which will be held October 4-5 2008. I'm pulling for the girls in pink and we'd love to see the walk route decked out with pink balloons everywhere. This is such a great cause and we are really happy to be a part of it. We know every little bit helps and we plan on contributing as much as we can for a long time to come. Special thanks to Stephany Krauz, (Avon Walk for Breast Cancer Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator) whose enthusiasm, excitement, gratitude and persistence were contagious. It is because of her that we could not pass up this opportunity to get involved and for that WE are grateful.

Be Different, Be Seen, Be Noticed!

Macy's hosted their annual trade expo at the Metropolitan Pavilion http://www.metropolitanevents.com/. This was our first time there and I have to say, WOW! This place is cool. If the Javits Center and a Tribeca Loft had a baby, this place is what it would look like. Wide open, well lit space, with lots of sunshine, very modern and upscale look with hard wood floors throughout. A very clean canvas for any design ideas. Great place for anything from a fashion show to a private party to a trade show. New York City Balloons http://www.balloonnyc.com/ was hired by NTD Apparel http://www.ntdapparel.com/ (which stands for Noticeably, Totally, Different, by the way) to create a custom made 6' tall Hello Kitty stand-up as well as a 6'X3'foam board sign for their booth and let me tell you, they were noticeably, different! In addition to the unique and eye catching sign and character they had at their booth we built an arch of giant 3' Balloons soaring over them from end to end. In a sea of cubicles in a giant trade show floor, they popped right out at you. They were the only ones with balloons and the first ones you noticed when you entered the room. Hope the show was a great success!
